The MAS Northeast/Eugene Winter Chapter meets regularly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, September-May, at Robert S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology at 175 Main Street (Route28), on the campus of Phillips Andover, Andover, MA.
Parking is on Phillips Street alongside the Institute.
Meetings
Chapter meetings are typically held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September through May. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the R.S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology, Phillips Academy in Andover. Meetings are open to the public. See our calendar for lecture speakers and topics.
Lectures
As part of its monthly meetings, the chapter sponsors a monthly lecture series on archaeology and related topics. These lectures are free and open to the public. See our calendar for lecture speakers and topics.

Events
As part of Massachusetts Archaeology Month and Essex Heritage Sails and Trails, the chapter sponsors “Atlatl Days” at the historic Rebecca Nurse House in Danvers. Visitors can learn about the atlatl, the ancient Native American throwing spear, throw an atlatl, and participate in an archaeological dig. Open to all ages.

Membership and Officers
Membership is open to individuals interested in archaeology. Annual dues are $6.00 per person. These dues help defray the costs of space usage and dinner expenses for our lecturers.
